Job Overview
Member of the Grace Bay Resort’s Pool & Beach team. Responsibilities include greeting guests warmly and assisting them with seating, towels, and any special requests, taking and delivering food and beverage orders to guests accurately and promptly and ensuring that pool and peach areas are clean and well maintained. This position reports to the Pool & Beach Supervisor.
Greet guests with a friendly demeanor
Assist guests with seating, towels, and any special requests
Take and deliver food and beverage orders to guests, ensuring orders are accurate and delivered in a timely manner.
Verify that all food and beverage orders are complete and correct before delivering them to guests
Maintain a thorough understanding of the menu to answer quest questions and make recommendations
Ensure pool and beach supplies are adequately stocked and available to guests
Distribute, collect an manage the inventory of pool and beach towels
Set up umbrellas, loungers, and other equipment at the start of the day and store them properly at the end of the day
Politely encore pool and beach rules and regulations to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests
Offer guests information about the local area, hotel services, and activities available during their stay.
Manage lost and found items, ensuring that any items left behind by guests are properly logged and stored
Compensation: $8.00 per hour
Average Service Charge: $10,000 per annum
Highschool Diploma or equivalent required
Exceptional customer service skills
Friendly and welcoming demeanor

Meticulous attention to Detail
Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands.
Must be able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours.
Fast paced movements are required to deliver orders promptly to guests.
Must be able to move, pull, carry, or lift at least 40 pounds.
Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb as required.
All Grace Bay Resorts operates 7 days a week, the needs for coverage will vary greatly depending upon occupancy, available resources and expected demands. As such business work schedules will be tailored to insure the best possible coverage to meet the most crucial business needs and insure high service levels while maintaining fairness. We will endeavor to grant special requests for specific shifts and or days off, however these cannot be guaranteed.
