Keep the treatment therapy rooms clean, tidy and well stocked with Grace Bay Club approved products
Have full knowledge of all treatments and facilities in the Spa in order to provide assistance to any guests
Assist guests with any queries or questions they may have
Maintain a professional attitude when dealing with guests and offering the first-class service expected from Grace Bay Club
Strive for guest satisfaction and desired financial results.
Upsell services to guest.
Recommend retail as a home care.
Perform off property services in accordance to the operating standards
Ensures the Spa service occurs according to operating and quality standards.
Ensure compliance with all Spa policies, standards and procedures.
Ensures compliance of company sanitation standards.
Perform massages, facials, body services, nail care on guests with professionalism, care, and attentiveness to each guests' needs.
Be familiar with massage room maintenance and laundry procedures.
Be familiar with appointment sheets, punctuality procedures, guest late policy, and break times.
Be familiar with room set-up and sanitation procedures.
Be familiar with procedures for escorting guests to room and to waiting area for other services; give tour of spa.
Understand the importance of teamwork and cooperation between the various departments in the spa.Strive for continuous improvement and excellence in all areas of responsibility.
Ensure compliance of Health and Safety procedures and local laws.
Follow Spa cleaning schedule
Understands the operating and maintenance procedures of all departmental equipment.Understands the job functions of the other areas of the resort and maintains an effective relationship between departments.
Follow energy conservation programs where applicable.
Comply with loss prevention policies to prevent accidents and control costs.
Provide excellent customer service.
Each colleague is expected to carry out all reasonable requests by management which the colleague is capable of performing.
Compensation: $8.00 per hour
Average Service Charge: $10,000 per annum
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Massage Therapy Certifications/ Training
Minimum of 1 Year in a similar role, preferably at a 5-star resort
Friendly and professional demeanor
Knowledge of Spa operational procedures
Knowledge of Spa and Health Club service standards
Ability to use standard software applications and hotel systems
Knowledge of safety standards
All Grace Bay Resorts operates 7 days a week, the needs for coverage will vary greatly depending upon occupancy, available resources and expected demands. As such business work schedules will be tailored to insure the best possible coverage to meet the most crucial business needs and insure high service levels while maintaining fairness. We will endeavor to grant special requests for specific shifts and or days off, however these cannot be guaranteed.
