Exhibits knowledge of all items on the menu and wine list
Demonstrates knowledge of resort, in-house facilities and local information to respond to guest questions
Monitors dining room for service and assists service as needed
Checks the overall condition of the dining room, ensuring the resort standards
Wishes a warm and personalized farewell
Pass on information regarding special diets (including allergies/religious) and guest names to service staff.
Ownership – Takes personal responsibility and shows initiative in work planning and problem-solving.
Personalized Service – Shows personal attention to guests’ unique needs, interests and expectations.
Expertise – Keeps informed and demonstrates job knowledge, following all job and service standards.
Natural Approach – Provides genuine service through actions that display self-confidence, grace and courtesy to guests and colleagues.

Compensation: $8.00 per annum
Average Service Charge: $10,000 per annum
Technical Service Skills – Demonstrate understanding of the technical service skills for assigned area (i.e. food and beverage service, housekeeping, etc.)
Point of Sale – Skilled in utilization of point of sale systems and/or other back-of the house systems.
Upselling – Know the available products and services and suggest alternatives.
All Grace Bay Resorts operates 7 days a week, the needs for coverage will vary greatly depending upon occupancy, available resources and expected demands. As such business work schedules will be tailored to insure the best possible coverage to meet the most crucial business needs and insure high service levels while maintaining fairness. We will endeavor to grant special requests for specific shifts and or days off, however these cannot be guaranteed.
